Where do many business owners in South Florida live? Perhaps, you would think in penthouse buildings in the city, like they do in New York. But you’d be wrong. Many wealthy people own businesses in the city , but buy their real estate in Weston. Weston is as its name suggests, is the western most city in Broward County.

It is home not only to wealthy businesses owners, but to many sport stars and celebrities, such as Dan Marino and Jose Canseco.

In 2006, Money Magazine ranked Weston,FL 20th in America in the “Biggest Earners” category. The median income for a family is about $113,000. Upon visiting Weston, you’ll notice the aesthetically pleasing surroundings, thanks to tough zoning laws for businesses. There are also quite a few golf courses, because as most of you know, that’s where the real deals are made.

Well, accoring to forbes, he is not. The person to take the number 1 position now is Carlos slim. I don’t think there will be too many tears shed for Bill Gates though, he is still worth a cool, $53 billion…beaten out only by 500 million. Yikes.

What’s more shocking is Buffets rise from $10 billion to 47 billion, that in itself is incredible.
